Power Rankings: Where Does RSL Land in Week 13?

Each week we take a look at how the experts view Real Salt Lake in relation to the rest of the league with their weekly power rankings.  After a 4-3 defeat at MAPFRE Stadium against Columbus Crew SC, RSL dropped to 6-4-2 on the season, but how far would the Claret-and-Cobalt fall in the power rankings?

MLSsoccer.com – 6
“RSL are, perhaps, regressing to the mean a little bit with only two wins from their last six. Their attack continues to be opportunistic, but at some point they have to start generating A) more possession, and B) more chances directly from that possession.”

SI.com – 6
“A 4-3 loss to Columbus weirdly flatters Real Salt Lake, which was outplayed most of the game before finding two late goals that made things interesting. Like most teams in MLS, Real Salt Lake’s biggest problem at the moment seems to be finding consistency. The team has gone six games without two consecutive positive results.”

ESPNFC.com – 9
“With a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss in Columbus, Joao Plata has now been involved in 11 of RSL's 20 goals on the year.”
