Playoff Picture: If the Season Ended Today ...

We’ve got one month left to play in the MLS regular season and even with a loss last week, RSL remains in control of its own destiny with four matches left to play.  Each week, we take a look at the table and the remaining schedules for the teams in playoff contention in the Western Conference.  With playoff dates now set, we will also look at where each team would match up … if the season ended today.

At the top of the West, FC Dallas leapfrogged Sporting Kansas City to take the top spot while SKC remains in second.  Those two would get byes to the Conference Semifinal Round.  Meanwhile, the rest of the West stayed the same as last week as LAFC would host Seattle Sounders FC in one game of the Knockout Round while the other would see Real Salt Lake travel to face the Portland Timbers.

What is your feeling on the way the final four matches look for RSL and the rest of the West?  Let us know in the comments section below.
