Just two weeks remain in the 2017 MLS regular season and Real Salt Lake slipped out of a playoff berth on the bye week after FC Dallas stole a point from Colorado on Saturday to jump over RSL and the San Jose Earthquakes for the sixth playoff spot. There are two teams playing a mid-week match this week with Houston hosting Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday, so there is still plenty of movement in the standings possible before RSL takes the field on Sunday against the Rapids.
