As many know now, the official offseason has started for MLS. Which doesn’t mean much of a break for many. This is the time of year when players get traded, sign new contracts and may move to new clubs.
Chris Kamrani of the Salt Lake Tribune wrote an article today about RSL’s Chris Schuler, who is eligible for the 2015 Re-Entry Draft on Friday. RSL is has mixed feelings about re-signing Schuler due to a rash of injuries.
"Chris is on the right path, but there's always concerns," Waibel said in the article. "With the Champions League being so early in the year, it's very, very difficult to view a situation where Chris would be ready to go.”
There are 26 players on the Re-Entry list. This gives RSL many options for a good player with their 5th pick of the draft.
