SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake midfielder Javier Morales has won his third Goal of the Week award of the season.
Morales won the honor for his stunning bicycle kick goal in RSL's 4-2 home win over the Portland Timbers last Friday. The Argentine playmaker beat out another bicycle kick goal to take home the honor, recieving 48 percent of the vote to top Chivas USA forward Erick Torres's bike kick. Morales's strike also beat out goals from Kansas City's Benny Feilhaber, Houston's Adam Moffat and New York's Lloyd Sam.
This is the third Goal of the Week honor for Morales this year, following up victories in Weeks 8 and 20. This is the seventh Goal of the Week win for Real Salt Lake this season.
