Real Salt Lake 2 vs Houston Dynamo 1
May 30, 2018; Sandy, Utah; Rio Tinto Stadium
Real Salt Lake (6-6-1, 19 points); Houston Dynamo (5-4-3, 18 points)

Man of the Match: Sebastian Saucedo continues his hot streak and with two assists on Wednesday, he claims the Game at a Glance Man of the Match for the third match in a row. In those three matches, he has one goal and three assists and on Wednesday, in addition to his two assists, he had five shots, two shots on goal and two chances created.
Telling Stat: Nick Rimando made five saves on the night, again making the spectacular look routine as he moved into second place in the league’s save standings with 50 on the season. Twenty of those saves have come in RSL’s six victories.
What You Missed: For the first time in club history, RSL celebrated Pride Night, with scarves, shirts and other in-stadium messages promoting equality and the MLS campaign “Soccer For All.” It was the first time that Pride Night had been celebrated by a top-tier professional sports team in Utah. For more on the occasion, read Maddie Lee’s story in the Salt Lake Tribune here.
So What: RSL has five straight wins at Rio Tinto Stadium and two straight wins overall. In topping the Dynamo – and allowing just one goal in the process – Salt Lake stymied the most potent attack in the Western Conference and re-confirmed the defensive strength of the club and the depth of the roster. Without Albert Rusnák in the lineup, the attack was still able to generate plenty of opportunities as well.
