Man of the Match: Midfielder Anderson Julio proved to be a spark off the bench,
scoring his fifth goal of the season and his third as a second-half substitute.
Julio’s shot was just one of two shots on goal for Real Salt Lake on the night.
Telling Stat: For the first time this season Real Salt Lake allowed their
opponent to score four goals. Prior to Sunday’s game the only time the team had
allowed more than two goals was against Portland Timbers at Providence Park,
where it fell 3-2. Tonight’s match was the first game where Real Salt Lake has
lost by more than one goal.
