Fast Facts: Real Salt Lake vs. Seattle Sounders FC ... Round 2 -

Player to Watch – Will Bruin is likely to return for Seattle in one capacity or another after missing the last two matches to injury.  The burly forward has three goals and two assists in seven matches this year for Seattle and provides a different look in the attack than any other player they have on the roster.  His presence as a target forward and scoring ability add a different dynamic than the team RSL faced on Saturday in Seattle.

Matchup to Watch – Sebastian Saucedo vs. Kelvin Leerdam.  Saucedo is in the best form of his RSL career with one goal and three assists in the last three matches and while he managed just the one shot attempt on Saturday in the first matchup between these two clubs, he made it count with his first MLS goal.  Leerdam has proven to be a formidable defender during his nine seasons in the Eredivisie and was influential in getting the Sounders to their second consecutive MLS Cup title match as a midseason addition that helped bolster the Seattle defense.

All-Time Record – With a win last week at CenturyLink Field, RSL took the lead in the all-time regular season series at 10-9-4, including a 7-1-2 mark at Rio Tinto Stadium.  The lone defeat came in 2011, ending a 29-game home unbeaten streak for Real Salt Lake.

Last 5 Head-to-Head – RSL is 2-3-0 in the last five matches against Seattle, with four of those five matches played at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.  RSL has won the last two meetings between the two clubs.

Last 5 Overall – Seattle is 1-3-1 in its last five matches, winning against Toronto FC on the road on May 9.
