Utah Royals FC Midfielder Desiree Scott Nearing 150 Caps with Canada
SANDY, Utah – (Friday, January 10, 2019) – Utah Royals FC midfielder Desiree Scott has been named to the Canada national team roster for the team’s first training camp of 2020 ahead of qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Head Coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller will select 20 members from January’s training camp to participate in the Olympic qualifying rounds. The qualifying tournament will take place beginning on January 29 in Edinburg, Texas. 

Scott, 32, enters her 11th year as a member of the senior national team, having received her first call-up in 2009. The midfielder, who sits fifth with all-time appearances for Canada, is just two matches away reaching the 150 games played milestone.
