On Monday, Concacaf announced the provisional rosters for each of the four teams competing in the Nations League Finals which are scheduled to be played June 3-6 at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado.
Real Salt Lake goalkeeper David Ochoa was named to the provisional roster for the United States and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter. The USMNT will face Honduras on June 3 in the first semifinal at 5:30 p.m. MT, followed by Mexico against Costa Rica in the other semifinal at 8:00 p.m. MT. The tournament’s third-place match will take place on June 6 at 4:30 p.m. MT prior to the final at 7:00 p.m. MT between the two semifinal victors. The games will be streamed live on Paramount+.
Ochoa is one of five goalkeepers named to the provisional roster and stands as the only uncapped goalkeeper of the group for the senior USMNT.
Ochoa has started and featured in the opening three fixtures of RSL’s season, helping the team to a 2-1-0 (6 points) start to 2021. The 20-year-old goalkeeper has registered five saves in those three matches.
The final 23-man rosters for all countries are due May 25, but teams can make substitutions in the event of injuries up to 24 hours prior to the first semifinal kicking off.
