HERRIMAN, Utah (Monday, September 26, 2021) – Real Salt Lake Academy midfielder Carlos Castrejon has been named to the U15 Mexico National Team for their upcoming training camp in Mexico City, Mexico.
The Lemon Grove, California native will train with Mexico’s U15 squad for the next couple of weeks and is expected to miss a few of the upcoming matches for the RSL Academy U15 team. Through three weeks of the 2021-22 MLS NEXT season, Castrejon has recorded one goal, the opening score for the U15s in a 4-0 win over Real Colorado.
In MLS NEXT play, the RSL Academy U15s are scheduled to continue their season on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m. MT.
