With RSL missing five starters on Saturday’s game, the squad still came out with a win in KC.
Week five now in the books, Real still stands undefeated. Not only is that great news but also the both goals came from two not so familiar starters, Justin Glad and Luke Mulholland. This was great news for Real to not only have these two guys score but to know that they have some depth coming off the bench.
Tony Beltran, who wore the captain’s band on Saturday, gave Chris Kamrani from The Salt Lake Tribune how he felt about their starting lineup.
"Obviously we had a lot of key players out," Beltran said. "But over the course of the season, that's going to happen. No starting XI is going to play all 34 games. We have a lot of confidence in our depth. We had a lot of confidence in the guys that were playing tonight, and this result is a testament to that."
