Inter Offers Praises to Real Salt Lake and Utah

Tuesday night was a monumental night in Real Salt Lake and Rio Tinto Stadium history when Inter paid a visit, marking the first time a European club had come to Sandy to face the Claret-and-Cobalt since the stadium opened in 2008.

After the match, Roberto Mancini and his club had nothing but praise for RSL and the atmosphere at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Here is some of the postgame reaction from Inter’s camp.

On Real Salt Lake:

Roberto Mancini - They are a good team. I know that they changed 4-5 players after the 30 minutes so they are a good team. They play a good game and I think they are going to do good things in the MLS.”

Danilo D’Ambrosio (through a translator) - “They are a team we’ve never played before or encountered them. They’re great players and they’ve have obviously prepared themselves really well and they gave us some good competition.”

Senna Miangue – “It’s a good team. They play really organized.”

On visiting Salt Lake City:

D’Ambrosio – “For us, it is a pleasure to be here for the first time and we’re really enthusiastic about it.”

Miangue – “Coming to Utah was very nice. It is a very nice place and it’s very hot so it was a little bit difficult during the game but we did well.”
