Real Salt Lake went into CenturyLink Field with high hopes of finishing the season on a high note with a win but came out with a crushing 3-1 loss to the Seattle Sounders.

Seattle superstar Clint Dempsey brought the heat with two goals and one assist, all within the first 20 minutes of play.


“If we didn't want to play those first 20 minutes, we should have stayed in Salt Lake,” RSL defender Tony Beltran said in the Salt Lake Tribune. “And then after that, for whatever reason, we woke up.”
