A talented player capable of playing on all three levels of the field, Allen became the sixth Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy product to sign with the first-team when he joined up in December of 2013. The 19-year-old Rochester, N.Y. native trained at the RSL-AZ Academy from August 2011-December 2012, earning the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy Player of the Year Award for the 2011-12 season. Allen spent one season at the University of Virginia, putting in a standout season to help lead the Cavaliers to the NCAA College Cup Semifinals, before signing with RSL.

2016: Jordan Allen started 11 of the 23 games he appeared in, scoring three goals and tallying two assists in 1,099 minutes played. The 21-year-old New York native was among the league’s best young players reflected in his selection to the 2016 Chipotle MLS Homegrown team for the second year running, a game in which he started. Allen also started RSL’s friendly against Serie A club Inter Milan, scoring the team’s lone goal in the 2-1 loss on July 19.
2015: Allen started in 11 of his 23 appearances in 2015, logging one goal and two assists. He scored his first professional goal on March 29, netting the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC and made his first MLS start on April 5 against the same team that saw him injured to end his 2014 seasons prematurely in a 1-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. He assisted on both goals in a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire on May 9. He was named to the 2015 Chipotle Homegrown Game, but did not participate due to injury. He also played in one match in the U.S. Open Cup and three matches - one of them as a starter - in CONCACAF Champions League.
2014: Allen was highly touted after signing as RSL’s sixth ever Homegrown player, but logged just nine minutes in two substitute appearances in Salt Lake’s first two matches of the season as injuries limited his first-team action.

Was a member of the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy from August 2011-December 2012. Allen was named the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy Player of the Year, USSDA Western Conference Player of the Year and was selected to the USSDA Starting XI Team of the Year for the 2011-12 Academy seasons. Played with current RSL first-teamers Carlos Salcedo, Lalo Fernandez and Benji Lopez while at RSL’s Casa Grande, Ariz.-based Academy.
