Ify Onumonu

- Onumonu was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California and played for four years collegiately at the University of California-Berkeley. Onumonu has since enjoyed six seasons in the NWSL most recently with NY/NJ Gotham FC where she won her first NWSL Championship. After appearing for the U.S. Women’s National Team at the U-23 level, Onumonu was called up to the Nigerian National Team for the first time in 2021. The forward has now earned 18 caps for Nigeria, including appearing in every match during the Super Eagles 2023 Women’s World Cup campaign, starting in three of their four matches.
