Medical

• Certified Athletic Trainer on-site

• Standard concussion protocols will be followed

• If a player leaves the match for a suspected head injury evaluation, a substitute may immediately replace that player without the team playing short as long as they have eligible player availability (ex: if a player is under concussion protocol and only player available is a player who is out on a red card suspension, they play is not eligible to enter play for player who is receive concussion protocol treatment)

Equipment

• Uniforms with clearly marked and visible numbers

• Matching team jerseys

• Shin guards required

• Home team changes jerseys in the event of a color conflict

• Goalkeepers must wear colors clearly distinguishable from both teams and officials

Conduct

The Utah Royals FC EDP Invitational promotes sportsmanship, respect, and player development.

Expected standards apply to:

• Players
• Coaches
• Spectators

Zero tolerance for:

• Referee abuse
• Unsporting behavior
• Harassment
• Discrimination

Tournament officials reserve the right to remove any participant or spectator whose behavior negatively impacts the event.

Discipline

• Yellow cards are recorded

• Two yellow cards in the same match result in a red card

• A red cards in a match result in suspension for the next match

• Fighting or referee abuse may result in immediate dismissal from the tournament

Forfeits

A team will forfeit if it is not prepared to play within ten (10) minutes of the scheduled kickoff.

Forfeit result:

• Recorded as a 3-0 loss
• Zero tournament points awarded

Tournament commitment will have final say on forfeit.

Protests

Only roster or player eligibility protests will be considered.

Judgment decisions made by match officials are final.

Weather Policy

Competition may be suspended or modified due to:

• Lightning
• Excessive heat
• Poor air quality
• Other unsafe conditions

All Tournament Committee decisions regarding weather are final.
