Utah Royals FC was proud to announce Sarah Carrington as its Season Ticket Members of the Match. Sarah was honored at Saturday's match against the Houston Dash on April 27.
Sarah has been a season ticket holder since the first iteration in 2018. She says, "becoming a Season Ticket Member was never really a decision. When I heard we were getting a NWSL team I just knew I had to be a part of it."
Her favorite memory is watching Jonsdottir score the first goal in franchise history. Gunny Jonsdottir is her favorite Utah Royals player. "l love her fight. She never gave up on a play, she was tough and scrappy, making plays out of nothing. I also love how she interacted with the fans. When she started the tradition of the Islandic clap she connected with the fans. She made us part of the match. It was awesome."
