Albert Rusnák: By the Numbers

Entering his third season as a mainstay in Real Salt Lake’s midfield, Albert Rusnák looks poised to again make an impact in 2019 as one of the league’s brightest and youngest stars. After signing a new deal with the club that will see the Slovakian star stay in Utah through the 2021 season, Rusnák will look to add to his impressive marks reached in his first two seasons in Utah.


Here are a few notable numbers and milestones Rusnák has reached during his two years at the club:


4: Rusnák has four goals in 17 caps with the Slovakian National Team, making 16 appearances for his country since coming to Utah.


7: The Slovakian international contributed seven assists in 2018, placing him fourth on the team during his second season with RSL.


10: In 2018 Rusnák scored 10 goals for RSL, placing him second on the team in that category to go along with his seven assists on the year.


14: In 2017, he earned the club’s Golden Boot and MVP honors after posting seven goals and 14 assists – the second-highest assist total in club history.


18: Rusnák has scored 17 goals in his first two regular seasons in Utah, including one playoff goal - a wonder-strike in the Western Conference Semifinal First Leg match against Sporting Kansas City in 2018 to bring his RSL goal tally to 18.


21: The number of assists Rusnák has contributed across the 2017 and 2018 seasons.


60: A lethal strike force in and around the penalty area, Rusnák has placed 60 shots on goal for RSL in 157 attempted shots.
