Ā·      MF Luke Mulholland is making his first start of the 2018 season after missing much of the season with a back injury.

RCB Nedum Onuoha (31 years old/1 game, 0 starts (1, 0)/0 goals, 0 assists (0, 0)/Queens Park Rangers (England)) ā€“ Making his first MLS start after appearing off the bench in a 1-1 draw with Sporting Kansas City.  Played the previous 14 seasons in the Premier League and Championship in England with Manchester City, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers.


LCB Marcelo Silva (29 years old/16 games, 16 starts (25, 25)/0 goals, 0 assists (0, 0)/Zaragoza (Spain)) ā€“ Making his second start since August 4 in a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire.  He last appeared on September 22 in a 2-0 loss to Atlanta United.


LB Aaron Herrera (21 years old/14 games, 12 starts (14, 12)/0 goals, 0 assists (0, 0)/University of New Mexico) ā€“ Making his 13th consecutive start after making his first on July 21 in a 2-2 draw with the Colorado Rapids.  RSL is 4-3-5 in his previous 12 starts.  Made his MLS debut on the road against Seattle Sounders FC in May.  Waited until July 7 in a 2-0 win over FC Dallas for his second appearance.


MF Nick Besler (25 years old/21 games, 14 starts (21, 14)/0 goals, 0 assists (0, 0)/Real Monarchs) ā€“ Making his second start in the midfield this season to go with 13 starts as a center back.  His other start in the midfield came in a 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo on May 30.


MF Luke Mulholland (30 years old/1 game, 0 starts (121, 96)/0 goals, 0 assists (16, 15)/Tampa Bay Rowdies) ā€“ Making his first start of 2018.  Made his only appearance off the bench in a 1-0 win over the New York Red Bulls on March 17.  Had back surgery on May 21.  Averaged 30 appearances and 2,073 minutes over his previous four MLS seasons.


RW Corey Baird (22 years old/29 games, 20 starts (29, 20)/7 goals, 4 assists (7, 4)/Stanford/HGP) ā€“ Leads all MLS rookies in scoring after scoring his seventh goal in RSLā€™s last match against the Portland Timbers on October 6.


CAM Damir Kreilach (29 years old/31 games, 29 starts (31, 29)/11 goals, 6 assists (11, 6)/Union Berlin (Germany)/TAM) ā€“ Ranks second on the team in fouls won with 42 and fifth in tackles with 41.


LW Sebastian Saucedo (21 years old/26 games, 9 starts (55, 15)/2 goals, 4 assists (2, 6)/Real Salt Lake Academy) ā€“ Appeared off the bench in 10 of the last 12 matches, also starting in one other match.  Last started on August 15 in a 2-0 loss to LAFC.


FW Luis Silva (29 years old/18 games, 8 starts (156, 107)/5 goals, 0 assists (32, 16)/Tigres (Mexico)) ā€“ Making his first appearance since starting on August 18 in a 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo.  His last three goals have come in a substitute role, including stoppage-time goals in back-to-back home wins over Sporting Kansas City and FC Dallas in July.


GK Andrew Putna (23 years old/2 games, 1 start (2, 1)/1-0-0 (1-0-0), 0.67 GAA/Real Monarchs) ā€“ Signed with RSL in July.  Made his first MLS start on Saturday, making two saves and earning a 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo.  Made his MLS debut last Wednesday, coming on at halftime in place of the injured Nick Rimando.  Made four saves while allowing no goals in the final 45 minutes against LAFC.  Has allowed three goals in two matches with Real Monarchs SLC this season, giving him six appearances in two seasons with the USL club.  Earned two clean sheets with the Monarchs last season.


DF Justen Glad (USA/0 caps/21 years old/32 games, 32 starts (85, 83)/0 goals, 0 assists (2, 1)/RSL Academy/HGP) ā€“ Coming off the bench for the first time this season after starting in the first 32 matches of the season.  Tonight ends a streak of 50 consecutive starts for Glad, dating back to last season.  Leads MLS with 89 interceptions.  Also ranks fourth in MLS with 26 blocks.  Ranks second on the team with 44 tackles.


DF Danilo Acosta (USA/0 caps/20 years old/12 games, 10 starts (29, 26)/0 goals, 2 assists (0, 4)/Real Salt Lake Academy/HGP) ā€“ Came off the bench for his first appearance since July 14 as a second-half substitute last week in a 6-0 win over the Colorado Rapids.  Sixth on the club with 27 tackles.

FW Joao Plata (Ecuador/5 caps, 2 goals/26 years old/24 games, 19 starts (193, 162)/8 goals, 8 assists (48, 48)/Toronto FC/TAM) ā€“ Returns from international duty, where he played on Tuesday in 0-0 draw with Oman in a friendly.  Ranks second on RSL with 53 chances created.


FW Jefferson Savarino (Venezuela/3 caps/21 years old/31 games, 31 starts (53, 50)/7 goals, 11 assists (13, 16)/Zulia (Venezuela)/DP) ā€“ Returns from international duty where he played 90 minutes in a 2-0 friendly win over UAE.  Ranks fifth in MLS and first on RSL with 76 dribbles completed.  Also RSLā€™s most-fouled player, winning 70 fouls this season (ranking eighth in MLS).  Ranks third on RSL with 45 chances created.
