Goal of the Year: 2 RSL Goals Survive to Round 2

Round Two in MLSsoccer.com Goal of the Year voting is under way and Real Salt Lake had two of its four qualified goals advance to the second round.


Javier Morales’ stunning goal against the San Jose Earthquakes moved on to face off with Orlando City SC rookie Cyle Larin, with the rebounded volley rocketing into the net and into the Round of 32 by popular demand.


Meanwhile the team effort to find Olmes Garcia on a spectacular set-play goal against Columbus Crew SC will square off with Houston’s Rob Lovejoy in second round after the tic-tac-toe ball movement mesmerized the Crew and dazzled the voters in the first round.
