MLS WORKS Community MVP nominations due July 5

MLS WORKS Community MVP Tyler Stockstill

Over the last two years, fans of the Vancouver Whitecaps have journeyed to the site of the MLS All-Star Game to be presented with the MLS WORKS Community MVP honor.  Winners of the annual contest that honors individuals who have made a difference in their community, the two Whitecaps fans were presented with checks by Wells Fargo to help benefit the programs they were involved with.

Now is your chance to ensure that when the same prize is distributed at the All-Star Game in Colorado next month, it will be a Real Salt Lake fan receiving the honor.

Major League Soccer, MLS WORKS and Wells Fargo are looking for individuals who use soccer to make a difference in their community.  If you are considered a role model or have a friend or neighbor that uses soccer as a tool to make an impact, nominate them today.

The chosen representatives are selected based on their efforts in one or more of the following areas: Social issues focusing on acceptance, inclusion, diversity and equality; Health issues affecting men, women, or children; and Community Service for a local, national or international charity or community organization.

Nominations are due by July 5 and can be submitted here.
