Kyle Beckerman’s season-capping goal in the regular season finale against Chivas USA won the MLS Goal of the Week honors in the final week of the season and now it is up for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Year.
The Real Salt Lake midfielder and captain had two goals eligible for the Goal of the Year title, with his Week 2 goal against the San Jose Earthquakes also among the 64 goals chosen for the tournament to determine the best goal of 2014.
