Omar Cummings scored a goal as Jamaica won the Digicel Caribbean Cup on Sunday.

MLSers were in full force during Tuesday’s official FIFA international fixtures.

In San Salvador New York’s Dane Richards scored a pair of goals and Colorado Rapids striker Omar Cummings added a third as Jamaica squeezed past El Salvador 3-2 for the Reggae Boyz first-ever friendly international win in Central America.

Real Salt Lake’s Arturo Alvarez played the entire first half for La Selecta.

Sporting Kansas City defender Shavar Thomas put in a full shift for Jamaica and San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Khari Stephenson replaced Cummings in the 72nd minute. Houston Dynamo defender Jermaine Taylor went unused.

Down in San José, Costa Rica, Los Ticos kept a Lionel Messi-less Argentina at bay en route to a 0-0 tie. RSL Designated Player Alvaro Saborio saw 88 minutes of action and was at the end of various Costa Rica counterattacks but was unable to give his team the upset win.

Red Bulls’ left back Roy Miller went unused by Costa Rica head coach Ricardo La Volpe.
