American Exports: Findley injured at Forest

Robbie Findley, Real Salt Lake

AMSTERDAM – Robbie Findley's Nottingham Forest debut will be delayed after the former Real Salt Lake striker suffered a thigh injury in training on Wednesday. The club is not yet sure about the extent of the setback, though there are fears he could miss up to 12 weeks.

"He had a scan today and we should know the results before the end of the week," a Forest spokesperson told MLSsoccer.com on Wednesday afternoon. "Then we can determine how long he will be out and what treatments he'll need. Obviously, it's heartbreaking for the player as he had just arrived. But once we get the scan results, we'll know more."

Despite the early uncertainty, it seems a foregone conclusion that Findley will miss out on Saturday's visit from Watford. Having won five straight and seven of eight, Forest are now up to fourth place in the Championship.
