Robbie Findley said he enjoyed the entire experince this past summer in South Africa.

Has Robbie Findley found a home?

Reports from England suggest that the former Real Salt Lake striker, who decided to try his luck abroad after his MLS contract came to an end this offseason, is set to put pen to paper with English Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The news stems from comments made by Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy, who barely got a look at the US international in the latter’s short time on trial with the Premier League team.

“We had him here, he came and trained with us, got two or three days, but he’s gone to Nottingham Forest,” McCarthy told The Express and Star. "We brought him over but he was injured when he came here, so we gave him treatment and then he went to Nottingham Forest, so we’ll never know.

"I think he’s been offered a contract, whereas we wanted to have a look at him.”

The report is just speculation at this moment, however. According to BBC Sport, Nottingham Forest have refused to comment on whether they’ve made Findley’s move to City Ground permanent.
