What good is being a celebrity if you don’t use it for good? Well, with the aid of Burger King, Leo the Lion is going to help raise funds for a good cause, as RSL’s popular mascot will be at the BK location at 147 E Bangerter Hwy in Draper tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12th from 5-6 p.m. Fans and diners alike can meet Leo and stay for dinner, during which Burger King will donate AND match 40% of all food and beverage sales for the evening to help 14 year-old Gentrie Hansen, a resident of Draper that is fighting a life-altering illness. Can’t make it before 6:00? No worries, as fans are encouraged to stop by anyway as the Burger King in Draper will continue to raise funds through 10:00 p.m. The funds will go to help defray the costs of Gentrie’s medical expenses.
