Real Salt Lake will be looking to continue its club-record 16-game home undefeated streak in League play (11-0-5) and seven-game overall undefeated run in MLS action (6-0-1) when San Jose comes to Sandy on Friday night. The Claret-and-Cobalt and the ‘Quakes have already met twice this season at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., with RSL first taking a 3-0 triumph in both teams’ 2010 MLS season opener back on March 27 before following that up just a few weeks later on April 14 with a 5-3 win in penalty kicks in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Qualifying play after a riveting 3-3 comeback draw in added extra time. The Utah side is now 3-3-4 in League contests against San Jose, a mark that improves to 4-3-5 when factoring in their two meetings in U.S. Open Cup affairs.
