Records: Real Monarchs (4-16-4, 16 points); New York Red Bulls II (4-16-4, 16 points)

Head-to-Head: Despite each club entering the United Soccer League in 2015, Real Monarchs and New York Red Bulls II will match up against one another for the first time this Sunday.

Connections: Monarchs defender Kevin Saucedo and New York Red Bulls II defender Juan Castillo, both Colombian internationals, were teammates at Colombian side Millonarios FC at the U20 level in 2020 before leaving to join their respective clubs this offseason. Additionally in 2019, Saucedo shared the back line with another Red Bulls II defender, Andrés Reyes, as teammates on the Colombia U20 national team.

Notes: For the first time in the Club’s history, the Monarchs will host an Eastern Conference opponent at Zions Bank Stadium. While the Monarchs will be looking to end a six-game skid, Red Bulls II enters the match on the heels of its own three-game losing streak. Real Monarchs are 1-3-0 all-time against Eastern Conference opponents, while New York Red Bulls II is 1-2-1 all-time against teams from the Western Conference.
