HERRIMAN, Utah (Sunday, August 23, 2026) - Real Monarchs have acquired defender Hayden Sargis from USL One side Athletic Club Boise via loan for the remainder of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
Sargis, 24, has logged six appearances and two starts en route to AC Boise’s 10-7-4 start in its inaugural season. A Sacramento Republic Academy product, Sargis notched 33 appearances in the USL Championship prior to transferring to D.C. United in 2022.
Sargis appeared in three MLS matches for D.C. United while spending the majority of his time on loan, logging stints with Loudoun United, Phoenix Rising, and Las Vegas Lights. In 2025, Sargis transferred to Orlando City B where he logged 24 appearances, including 15 starts while scoring one goal and adding one assist.
Real Monarchs concludes its now four-game road trip at Colorado Rapids 2 today, Sunday, August 23, after last Friday’s fixture against Minnesota United FC 2 was postponed to September 16. The match is scheduled for 6:00pm MT and will be broadcast via OneFootball.
