Real Salt Lake and American Express are proud to have recognized Dana Fisher as the recipient of the “Hero Among Us” honored on September 16, 2017. Fisher was selected as an example of what the Women’s Business Center can do.
The Women’s Business Center has assisted women entrepreneurs for over 20 years. The center provides free individual business consulting, free in-person training, and an online service as well. Their overall goal is to help women build confidence, create new opportunities for themselves and experience success in owning their own business.
Dana Fisher worked in the dental field for over 18 years. It was during her time working, she realized many people do not have access to dental care. She came up with the idea of “Dental on Location”, where she can provide dental care to those who cannot get to the dentist offices. Her overall vision is to make dental care convenient and accessible to everyone.
Dana says that she would not be where she is today without the Women’s Business Center and would like to thank them for the support they have given her throughout the years.
