What They're Saying: Real Salt Lake Signs Movsisyan to New Deal

Yura Movsisyan will be staying with Real Salt Lake for years to come, after signing multiyear contract. Chris Kamrani from The Salt Lake Tribune published an article Monday breaking the news on Movsisyan and the plan to keep him around. Not only is the club excited, the Armenian striker is too. This contract is a multiyear deal that comes with a club option. Yura is also one of the three Designated Players that Real has listed on their roster.

"It gives me a lot of motivation to know that people have so much trust in you to, to be investing in you to be a face of the franchise," he told Kamrani. "I take that with a lot of pride. I take that with a lot of joy."

Movsisyan was previously with RSL back in 2007-2009. He then bounced around with a few teams overseas before making his way back to the states. Which, is exactly where he wants to be.

"I knew from Day 1 that I wanted to make this a permanent move," Movsisyan told The Salt Lake Tribune.

This is great news for RSL fans to have a player who is so valuable and loves to call Salt Lake home. Read more on Movsisyan’s contract in The Salt Lake Tribune.
