RSL Family -

As the club is on the verge of qualifying for the 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs, our eighth postseason trip in the last nine seasons, we are preparing to provide a truly special experience for all RSL fans.  As a result, we are pleased to announce our 2016 MLS Home Playoff pricing.  Please see the attached Rio Tinto Stadium seating map with detailed ticket prices.

As our most loyal fans, we invite our Season Ticket Members to purchase Playoff Tickets at significant savings over the general public.  Additionally, we are offering a special RSL Royalty Playoff Package, which will provide savings upwards of 50%!  We have three options for Season Ticket Members:

1.We are inviting our Season Ticket Members to opt-in and secure current seats for all of RSL’s 2016 home Playoff matches (not including MLS Cup).  The club will only charge Season Ticket Members for each round if and as games occur.  Season Ticket Members who opt-in for the 2016 RSL Royalty Playoff Package and renew season tickets for the 2017 season by October 7, 2016 will be offered RSL 2016 Playoff tickets at a discounted price equal to the current 2016 regular season ticket prices.  The opt-in process guarantees your seats for each playoff game, with your credit card charged only if and as games occur.

2.Season Ticket Members that choose to opt-in for the 2016 Royalty Playoff Package by October 7, 2016 but do not renew season tickets for the 2017 season will pay the 2016 RSL Playoff Season Ticket Member pricing reflected on the Rio Tinto Stadium pricing map enclosed.  The opt-in process guarantees your seats for each playoff game, with your credit card charged only if and as games occur.

3.Season Ticket Members that choose not to opt-in for the 2016 Royalty Playoff Package by October 7, 2016  will still be able to purchase tickets (subject to availability) at the 2016 RSL Playoff Season Ticket Member pricing reflected on the Rio Tinto Stadium pricing map enclosed, but we cannot guarantee your 2016 regular season seat locations during the Playoffs.

Please contact your Fan Relations representative prior to the October 7 deadline via email or on the Fan Relations Hotline at 801.727.2702 to complete the renewal and Playoff “Opt-In” process.

We anticipate making 2016 MLS Cup Playoff tickets available to the general public on October 11, and will continue to update both Season Ticket Members and all fans of various scenarios regarding seeding, home Playoff games, kickoff and television information as it becomes available.

During the stretch run this month, RSL has four matches – three at home and one away.  With matches against the LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas at home – where RSL is one of just four unbeaten teams so far this year, with an 8-0-5 mark – broken up by the lone road match against Portland, there is a chance for RSL to vault itself into the top spot in both the West and Supporters’ Shield chases.

Depending on RSL’s final Western Conference place in the standings, potential MLS Cup Playoff dates are as follows:

Conference Knockout Games: Wednesday, October 26 and/or Thursday, October 27
Western Conference Semifinal Leg One: Sunday, October 30 (1/3/5 or 7:30 p.m. MT)
Western Conference Semifinal Leg Two: Sunday, November 6 (1/3/5:30 or 8:00 p.m. MT)
Western Conference Final Leg One: Sunday, November 20 (6:00 p.m. MT)
Western Conference Final Leg Two: Sunday, November 27 (2:00 p.m. MT)
MLS Cup 2016: Saturday, December 10 (6:00 p.m. MT)

With all the Western Conference contenders, including RSL, LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers, Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas, and of course our Rocky Mountain Cup rival Colorado Rapids squaring off against each other in the coming weeks, MLS will release the final 2016 MLS Cup Playoff slate the night of our final regular-season match, Sunday, October 23 at Seattle.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact your Fan Relations Representative or RSL Communications representatives with any questions or concerns, and we look forward to hosting you at Rio Tinto Stadium in our pursuit of another Cup!

Sincerely,
Andy Carroll
