Power Rankings: RSL Moves Up After Draw

Each week we take a look at how the experts view Real Salt Lake in relation to the rest of the league with their weekly power rankings.  After a 2-2 draw at home against the Portland Timbers on Saturday, RSL moved to 7-4-3 on the season and remain third in MLS with 24 points.  Here is how those experts place the Claret-and-Cobalt this week.

MLSsoccer.com – 3
“Not the way they wanted to start this home-heavy chunk of the schedule after a long road trip, but RSL are comfortably third in the West and have shown an ability to get points no matter the venue.”

ESPNFC.com – 8
“Justen Glad is a promising young defender, but the presumed weakness of RSL at the back was on display when the teenager was beaten by Fanendo Adi for Portland's opening goal.”
