Real Salt Lake started its long road trip with a loss to Colorado.  Last Saturday night, RSL faced its Rocky Mountain Cup foes in a battle for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Daniel Boniface from The Desert News reported on the match up and the loss RSL faced. Real did not leave without a fight though. They battled and had a few shots that looked promising for the equalizer, but Colorado GK Zac MacMath came up big for his team.
“Zac MacMath played well,” Beckerman said. “He made the saves he had to make. I had another shot earlier which he picked out of the corner. Give credit to him.”
