The process of finding a center back is ongoing. General Manager Craig Waibel took a recent trip to Europe to do some scouting and he explained to Chris Kamrani from The Salt Lake Tribune how great it has been to see these players of interest face to face, instead of limiting interactions to a long distance call.

"When you sit down face-to-face with a player, they realize the seriousness of our interest and we're gauging where they are," Waibel said.

Waibel spent most of his time in France and the Netherlands. Along with being able to meet a few of the prospects, Waibel spent time looking at training facilities and fields to get ideas for RSL’s new training ground.
