Power Rankings: How do they view Real Salt Lake?

Each week we take a look at how the experts view Real Salt Lake in relation to the rest of the league with their weekly power rankings.  After a 2-1 road win over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday we check out how far RSL climbed the rankings on MLSsoccer.com, but fell in both SI.com and ESPNFC.com’s rankings.

MLSsoccer.com – 3
“Under-manned team missing 10 players travels to a hated rival and gets a win? Perfect MLS script. Now let's hope that Justen Glad keeps his starting role.”

SI.com – 8
“For a team missing a handful of starters on Saturday, RSL did superbly, going up 2-0 before conceding on a stoppage-time penalty to win in Kansas City for just the second time.”

ESPNFC.com – 10
“A goal off a set piece and a well-taken shot through traffic were enough to get the job done for RSL in Kansas City. The goals might seem like fortune, but Jeff Cassar's team played well enough to earn the win.”
