The world-renowned soccer magazine, FourFourTwo, recently did a player profile piece on our very own Kyle Beckerman. RSL’s Captain is entering his tenth season with the Utah team and he seems to be the leader of the club’s success.
Ever since Beckerman joined the team back in 2007, the team has been on an up and up streak. That is, all except last season. Last season was the first season since 2007 that RSL hadn’t made postseason play, which is exactly what Beckerman hates to see.
On a positive note, RSL has moved into the knockout stages of the CONCACAF Champions League play where they face Liga MX champions, Tigres.
With a fast start to the 2016 season, Beckerman is hopeful of a better season for the team.
