Everyone goes through his or her ups and downs in life. It just tends to be harder if youā€™re in the spotlight. Which is exactly what Jeff Cassar went through last season.

Chris Kamrani of The Salt Lake Tribune recently did a piece on RSLā€™s Head Coach and the rough year the team had in 2015.  Cassar joined the coaching staff in 2007 and RSL made the postseason every year from 2008-2015.  Last year, the team had an 11-15-8 record and came in ninth in the Western Conference.
Needless to say, the season was rough and a few other professional coaches can relate. Cassar was able to lean on former Manchester United Manager David Moyes and new RSL addition Richie Williams, veterans in the coaching ranks who have dealt with successes and failures in the spotlight.
ā€œI'm focused on being successful,ā€ Cassar said.  ā€œI'm focused on this team winning the MLS Cup, not just surviving. That's how it is. I will never be worried about something else. That's not how I was brought up, that's not how I do it."
