Garth Brooks with Real Salt Lake

Garth Brooks with RSL

Earlier this year, you may remember Snoop Dogg donning a Real Salt Lake jersey on stage at a local concert.  We can also count Rancid drummer Branden Steineckert among the club's biggest fans.  Now, add country music superstar Garth Brooks to the mix of stars with personalized RSL kits, as Real Salt Lake assistant coach Daryl Shore presented Brooks with a custom jersey at his concert in Salt Lake City last week.

With his famed lucky number 7 on the back, Brooks was given the jersey before one of his four shows at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Brooks, whose stable of hits includes 17 No. 1 Billboard songs like "Friends in Low Places" and "The Thunder Rolls," spent a portion of his time in Utah working with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, which partners with professional athletes, celebrities and corporations to help children in the areas of health and education.  For more information, visit TeammatesForKids.com.
