Back in 2007 one of the biggest soccer super stars, David Beckham, made the move to LA Galaxy. He was one of the first big English stars to sign with an MLS team. Not far behind him came RSL's very own Luke Mulholland. His journey over wasn't exactly to play professionally right off the bat. He was still a young lad with a dream to go pro.
Kristan Heneage of Yahoo Sports recently went back in time with Luke to talk about his hopes and dreams of going pro and his journey growing up. Those hopes and dreams are now a reality for Mulholland and he actually has a pretty impressive resume for himself in the soccer world now. Mulholland isn't going to let his humble upbringing slip by though. He contiues to coach and light the fire of success for many young players that have the same dreams that he had.
