EA Sports FIFA 16 is in stores now; How are RSL's players rated? -

September 22 is an important day on the calendar for soccer fans around the country.  This morning, soccer fans and gamers around the country arose on a new dawn, as EA Sports FIFA 16 hit the shelves.


Real Salt Lake has plenty of players that play the annual edition of soccer’s biggest video game, testing their skills on the field, but also checking to see how they – and their teammates – are rated.


Here is a look at the ratings of the RSL players in FIFA 16.

-          Rimando is the highest-rated goalkeeper, topping D.C. United’s Bill Hamid and Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s David Ousted, both rated 73.


-          Beckerman is the third-rated CDM in the league, behind only Jermaine Jones in New England and Osvaldo Alonso in Seattle, both rated 77.


-          Beltran has the fifth-highest ratings among right backs.


-          Phillips is rated ninth among left backs.


-          Only two center-back tandems are both rated higher than Olave and Schuler – Toronto FC’s Damien Perquis and Ahmed Kantari; and Ike Opara and Matt Besler with Sporting Kansas City.


-          Morales and Rimando are tied with four others for the 20th-highest rating among MLS players.


-          RSL’s average rating is 64, one below the league average of 65.
