Real Salt Lake was back in the Team of the Week listing this week as Javier Morales was in the Week 28 Best XI with his one goal, one assist performance against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
Morales has had a lot of success throughout his career against the Dynamo with seven goals and seven assists in 13 career matches, but those numbers are amplified by his last three outings against Houston. In those matches over the last two seasons, he has five goals and three assists, with at least a goal and an assist in each match.
It was the fourth selection to the Team of the Week for Morales.
Morales was joined on Team of the Week by goalkeeper Tim Melia (Sporting Kansas City); defenders Victor Cabrera (Montreal Impact), Bobby Burling (Colorado Rapids), Andrew Farrell (New England Revolution) and Harrison Afful (Columbus Crew SC); midfielders Cristian Techera (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Michel (FC Dallas) and Adrian Winter (Orlando City SC); and forwards Diego Fagundez (New England Revolution) and Kei Kamara (Columbus Crew SC).
After netting his first MLS goal in his first start for Real Salt Lake, Juan Manuel Martinez was listed on the bench.
