Only one group remains in the Semifinal Round and Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando has yet another entrant into the year-end contest.
Rimando’s Week 1 save of Robbie Keane’s penalty in a 1-0 win over the LA Galaxy is his fifth entrant in the Save of the Year Semifinal Round. RSL’s Jeff Attinella also had one save up for vote in the semifinals.
Rimando led the league with a 1.04 goals against average, finishing 13-4-7 with seven shutouts.
Voting runs through 12:59 am MT on Friday with the top vote-getter in each group will advance to the Final Round.
