SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake Goalkeeper Nick Rimando earned his fourth Save of the Week honor, taking home the award for week 25.
Rimando won Save of the Week for his fantastic one-handed save off the goal line in the 43rd minute in RSL’s 1-1 draw at San Jose Earthquakes. Rimando claimed nearly 38 percent of the vote to top D.C.’s Bill Hamid, Colorado’s Joe Nasco, Portland’s Donovan Ricketts and Chivas USA’s Dan Kennedy. The RSL veteran ‘keeper now leads the league with four Save of the Week wins.
Rimando will return to action tomorrow, when the Claret-and-Cobalt hosts FC Dallas at Rio Tinto Stadium. The match will kick at 8:00 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on CW30.
