SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake captain Kyle Beckerman, defender Tony Beltran and goalkeeper Nick Rimando will all suit up for the U.S. men's national team in its pre-Gold Cup friendly against Guatemala in San Diego on Friday night.
The match will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network starting at 9:00 p.m. MT. Beckerman and Rimando figure to start the game, while Beltran will be in the mix for a spot in the First XI at right back.
The U.S. will kick off its Gold Cup slate on Tuesday with a match against Belize at Jeld-Wen Field in Portland.
The Americans will continue their tournament run at Rio Tinto Stadium next Saturday, July 13, when they'll take on Cuba at 1:30 p.m. MT in the first game of a Gold Cup doubleheader in Sandy. RSL forward Alvaro Saborio and Costa Rica will take on Belize in the second match of the twin bill at Rio Tinto Stadium at 4:00 p.m. MT next Saturday.
