SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake Captain Kyle Beckerman is up for MLS Goal of the Week!
Beckerman is nominated for his stunning side-volley goal in the 41st minute of RSL's 2-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium. He's up against Chivas USA's Tristan Bowen, Chicago's Dilly Duka, Philadelphia's Conor Casey and Portland's Will Johnson for the weekly honor.
RSL has won Goal of the Week three times this year. Beckerman has not been awarded the honor yet in 2013.
