Way, way back on July 29, 2006, Real Salt Lake converted a pair of penalty kicks in second half stoppage time to beat D.C. United 2-1 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The D.C. player who conceded both penalties? John Wilson, now a defender with the USL Pro Charleston Battery.
Oh, and the color commentator on the broadcast is none other than RSL GM Garth Lagerwey, D.C.'s TV analyst from 2001-2007.
