SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake forward Alvaro Saborio has been voted the top MLS performer for the month of March!
Saborio, who leads RSL with three goals in three games, beat out runner-up LA midfielder Mike Magee and third-place finisher Toronto forward Robert Earnshaw for the top spot. A total of 10 players were nominated for the honor, which was voted on by fans over the last several days.
Saborio and Real Salt Lake will take on the Colorado Rapids in a Rocky Mountain Cup Presented by Mark Miller Subaru match at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday. Saturday's game will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. MT and will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network and on the radio on ESPN700 and 102.3 La Gran D/1600 AM.
