TUCSON, Ariz. - Real Salt Lake forward Alvaro Saborio is back in RSL camp, arriving in Tucson late on Monday night and training with the team for the first time this preseason on Tuesday morning.

Saborio missed RSL's two previous preseason camps while with the Costa Rican national team. The Claret-and-Cobalt's leading scorer in 2012, Saborio captained Costa Rica to a Copa Centroamericana crown in January and starred in Los Ticos' Hexagonal opener, scoring a goal and adding an assist in his country's comeback 2-2 draw at Panama on Feb. 6.

After taking a couple of well-deserved days off in Salt Lake City, Saborio spent Feb. 9-11 in Miami on a MLS Media Tour. He was one of just five MLS players on the Miami tour, where he spent two days meeting with Spanish-language media ahead of the 2013 season.

Saborio trained fully with RSL on Tuesday and will be available for selection when the Claret-and-Cobalt take on the New York Red Bulls in the team's opening match of the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup on Wednesday night (Kick at 7:00 p.m. MT; Streamed live on MLSsoccer.com).
